Privacy Policy

Lumen Cast ("the App", "we")

Effective date: September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lumen Cast handles when you use

the App, and how. The short version: your media never leaves your devices.

Casting happens directly between your phone and your TV over your local Wi-Fi

network. We operate no servers that receive your content.

1. Information the App processes

1.1 Media you choose to cast (photos, videos, screen, camera)

• Photos and videos are read from your photo library **only after you grant

permission**, and only for the items you select.

• Screen mirroring and live camera casting are processed in real time on your

device and streamed directly to your TV over your local network.

• This content is never uploaded to us or any third party. It does not

leave your local network.

1.2 Local network information

• The App scans your local network (Bonjour, SSDP, DIAL) to discover TVs and

streaming devices. Device names, IP addresses, and capabilities of devices

found on your network are used only to establish casting sessions and are

stored locally on your device.

1.3 Purchase and subscription information

• Purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We use RevenueCat to

verify your entitlement. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and

your purchase receipts; it does not receive your name, email, or media.

1.4 Settings and usage preferences

• Preferences (selected quality, connected-device history, daily mirror usage

for the free quota) are stored only on your device (UserDefaults / App

Group). Uninstalling the App removes them.

2. Information we do NOT collect

• No account registration, no names, no email addresses.
• No analytics or advertising trackers. No third-party ad SDKs.
• No access to the content of your photo library beyond items you explicitly

cast.

• No crash-reporting SDK is bundled beyond Apple's built-in, opt-in App Store

crash reports, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

3. Permissions the App requests

All permissions can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings. Core browsing of

the App works without them; only the related casting feature stops.

4. Data retention and deletion

• All App data lives on your device. Delete the App to delete everything.
• Purchase records are retained by Apple under your Apple ID; contact Apple

for questions about that data.

5. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your

jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material

changes, note the change in the App's release notes.

1.3 购买与订阅信息

1.4 设置与使用偏好

• 偏好设置（所选清晰度、已连接设备历史、免费版每日镜像时长）仅存储在您的设备上，卸载应用即删除。

2. 我们不收集的信息

• 无需注册账号，不收集姓名、邮箱。
• 无统计分析或广告跟踪，无第三方广告 SDK。
• 除您明确选择投屏的内容外，不访问您的照片库。
• 除 Apple 内置的、由用户选择开启的 App Store 崩溃报告外，不集成其他崩溃上报 SDK。

3. 本应用申请的权限

4. 数据保留与删除

• 本应用所有数据均存储在您的设备上，删除应用即删除全部数据。
• 购买记录由 Apple 依据您的 Apple ID 保存，相关问题请联系 Apple。

5. 儿童隐私

本应用不面向 13 岁以下（或您所在司法辖区的同等年龄）儿童，也不会有意识地收集其个人信息。

6. 政策变更

如有变更，我们将更新上方日期；重大变更会在应用更新说明中注明。
